Our Aircraft

About the Collection

We take pride in striving to maintain these aircraft so they can be enjoyed by all to the fullest extent by keeping them in flying condition. Though there's certainly nothing wrong with displaying static aircraft, the experience of being around aircraft in airworthy condition takes one back to the sights, sounds, and even smells of a time gone by. When you tour the VWFM you'll notice that our aircraft may be leaking oil and even a bit of jet fuel. Don't worry! That's the beauty of a warbird in flying condition!

Small disclaimer; at any given time not all of the aircraft listed on this site are going to be displayed at our 12101 Blume Ave address. This is because we severely lack hangar space for all of the aircraft that we own and operate. Some, at any given time, may be on display at the nearby Lone Star Flight Museum or stashed away temporarily in the group of T-hangars we utilize that are at the back of Ellington Field.
