Built by the Soviet Air Force but transferred to the People's Liberation Army Navy (better known as the Chinese Navy!) in 1950 and given the serial 2071. This MiG-15 was one of the first 50 delivered to the Chinese served with the Chinese throughout the Korean War where it gained a lot of combat history flying against the United States. Imported to the US in the mid-1990s, it’s currently operated by the Marine Aviation Museum and kept on display at Vietnam War Flight Museum.
