MiG-21 Afterburner Test and High Speed Taxi

A few months back the volunteers at Vietnam War Flight Museum performed a full functional start on the museums own MiG-21. However with the upcoming return to flight status, the jet needed to have its pneumatic systems charged and a high speed taxi with afterburner test performed.

Unfortunately however with all systems showing green, the afterburner did not light after a few attempts. The volunteers and mechanics at the museum are troubleshooting the problem and researching likely causes.

It is expected for the airplane to however be repaired soon, and it will return to flight status.
